Terms of Use

Last updated: 8 October 2026

These terms apply to the website and the web application Virtuino Circuits at circuits.virtuino.com (the "Service"). The Service is operated by the Virtuino team ("we", "us"), e-mail support@virtuino.com. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Virtuino Circuits lets you draw electrical automation circuits with IEC symbols, simulate them and write Ladder programs for PLCs, in your browser.

  • Free use. Drawing, simulation and PNG export are free and require no account. Your current drawing is kept only in your own browser.
  • Pro. A paid yearly plan that adds drawings saved to your account ("cloud drawings"), opening and saving files, and PDF export. Pro is available at a standard price, at a reduced price for verified educators, and as a school licence.

2. Accounts

  • You need an account only for Pro. You must provide a valid e-mail address and keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Younger students use the free version without an account, or an account created and managed by their school under a school licence.
  • The educator price is for people who teach. We may ask for confirmation of your status and may withdraw the reduced price if it was obtained with false information.
  • A school licence covers the teachers of one school and up to 50 student accounts created by the school; it may not be shared with other schools.

3. Payments and renewal

  • Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record, which issues the invoice and handles taxes. Prices shown include VAT where applicable.
  • Pro is a yearly subscription that renews automatically at the end of each year at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from the account menu → My account → Manage subscription; Pro then stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
  • We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail.

4. Your drawings

  • Your drawings and programs belong to you. We claim no rights over them. You give us only the permission needed to store them, show them to you and make backups, so that the Service can work.
  • Cloud drawings are private to your account. We do not look at them except to fix a problem you report or where the law requires.
  • You can download your drawings as files at any time and delete them from your account. If your Pro plan ends, your cloud drawings are kept for 12 months so you can renew or download them; after that they may be deleted.
  • Limits apply (currently 10 MB per drawing and 300 drawings per account) and may change with notice.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to break the law, to attack or overload our systems, to attempt to access other people's accounts or drawings, to resell access, or to copy the Service or its symbol library into another product. We may suspend accounts that do so.

6. Simulation is not engineering verification

The simulation is a teaching and design aid. It uses simplified models of real devices and cannot reproduce every property of real installations. Do not rely on it as the sole verification of a real electrical installation. Real circuits must be designed, checked and installed by qualified persons according to the applicable standards and regulations. We accept no responsibility for installations built on the basis of a simulation.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but cannot guarantee it; there may be maintenance, faults or events beyond our control. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue the Service, we will give at least 60 days' notice so you can download your drawings, and refund the unused part of paid plans.

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer in the European Union.

9. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time by writing to support@virtuino.com; we delete your account data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we notify account holders by e-mail at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the Virtuino team is registered, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of consumers to use the courts of their residence. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
